Pavel has over two decades of experience in technology, entrepreneurship and principal investing. He is co-founder of NEVEQ I and II, two institutional venture capital funds, backed by Europe’s most significant fund investors and family offices. Pavel has backed two dozen companies and exited successfully six of them. He is a co-founder of Sofica Group, acquired by TeleTech. His earlier career was in corporate finance, with Microsoft in Redmond and with Deutsche Bank in London and Sofia. Pavel graduated in finance with honors from Northeastern University and studied French at the Sorbonne and neuroscience at Vrije University in Amsterdam. He lives in Bern.
Deyan is an experienced finance professional and a serial entrepreneur. He has built expertise in fast moving consumer goods, technology and telecommunications, energy, general industry and agricultural sectors, as a CFO and board member. His experience as a corporate finance advisor includes more than €300 million in completed M&A transactions and over than €200 million in financing transaction. He is the founder and CEO of a successful debt management business, providing unique market solution to more than 50 institutional clients.

Victor heads the rollout of Citi Ventures’ D10X program in APAC. His focus is on building the infrastructure necessary for the continuous origination of ideas and teams, and delivering the support necessary for their lasting success.
Victor is a seasoned entrepreneur, global citizen, and systems thinker focused on business model innovation and automated decision support systems. He has over a decade of experience in building and scaling technology startups across the globe. His venture involvements range from intelligent content curation and discovery through forestry tokenization to HR automation and talent analytics.
He holds an MS in Decision Sciences from the London School of Economics, a double MS in System Dynamics Modelling from the University of Bergen in Norway and Radboud in the Netherlands, and a BSc in International Business from the Copenhagen Business School. Outside of Citi, he is also a co-founder and board member of Talent Data Labs, Hacker.Works, and Innovator.sg, as well as a board advisor at Ekofolio.
Ivan Ivanov leads engineering teams at Facebook, tackling some of the hardest problems in the World. Over the years he has worked for Google and Amazon, on problems ranging from the Google Search backend, to the recommendation systems on Amazon’s retail website. In the process he has filed several patents. In his spare time he speaks at leading universities, judges hackathons, and shares his experience. Ivan founded his first startup at the tender age of 9, organizing the kids in the neighborhood to collect aluminum cans for candy. In later years he became a competitive programmer and was a member of a national team in informatics. Ivan has been exposed to some of the most difficult problems in technology such as AI, distributed systems, advanced algorithms, and of course people.
Ben Matheson spent over 15 years in leading technology companies such as Amazon Web Services, VMWare, Microsoft and Oracle, where he is currently responsible for the North America marketing team across technology and applications businesses. Previously he was the chief marketing officer of AlertLogic, leading the marketing and branding efforts across all marketing functions at the company. During his tenure at AWS, Ben also launched the AWS Partner Network program and grew its global ecosystem to over 8,000 partners. He and Pavel both graduated from Northeastern University and worked at Microsoft where Ben spent nine years in a variety of marketing, business development and product management positions. Ben is based in Seattle.
With 20+ years of experience, Álvaro Millán is a seasoned finance practitioner who specializes in commercial and strategic finance. He holds a B.S. with Honors from ICADE (Madrid) & Northeastern University as well as a Masters in Finance from LBS (London). He started his career in asset management industry during the rise and burst of the dot-com bubble. Later, he joined the internet industry as a finance & strategy director for a leading e-tailer in Spain during a period of exponential growth and gained experience in the fields of data analysis, pricing and commercial strategy. A decade ago Álvaro joined a top 5 global media agency as finance leader of its agency network, involved in global client management, profitability analysis, performance measurement and resource allocation. He is focused on commercial finance and manages financial negotiations, revenue and risk assessment with key global clients as well as global new business activities for the group out of Madrid.
Ves has nearly a decade of international experience in strategy and management consulting helping clients identify and address their most critical business and IT challenges and transform their enterprises. Presently he is a core member of the Technology Advantage practice at The Boston Consulting Group where he leads the Global Benchmark activities for the Insurance Sector. Formerly, he had equity research responsibilities and worked within a Top 4 global advisory practice. He is based in Dusseldorf.
